What services do I offer?

I'm based in San Diego, CA but services can be online or in-person.

Pre-Physical Therapy

Think of Pre-Physical Therapy as injury prevention. We’ll focus on exercises, stretches, and strategies to reduce your risk for injury and prepare your body for the demands of whatever you plan on putting it through (sports, traveling, home projects, sitting at a computer, gardening, etc.)

Physical Therapy

This is like the typical physical therapy session you would get in a clinic after your referral from your doctor. We’ll focus on identifying the cause of your pain and prescribing therapeutic exercises, stretches, and strategies to systematically rehabilitate your body back to full health.

After-Physical Therapy

This is what you need after finishing physical therapy through your doctor’s referral. You may still want to get stronger and improve your mobility. I can help you safely transition back to an exercise routine so you can get stronger and focus on your overall health and wellness without injuring yourself again.

What injuries can I help you with?

Knee – Meniscus tears, ACL tears or reconstructions, patellofemoral pain syndrome, patellar tendinitis, runner’s knee, knee arthritis, strains, weakness

Shoulder/Elbow – Rotator cuff tendinitis, frozen shoulder, biceps strains, impingement, dislocations, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, weakness

Hi, I'm Dr. Marc Robinson.

While developing rehab programs for over four thousand people in the clinic as a Licensed Physical Therapist, I’ve seen a big need for an “after-physical therapy” strength training program that bridges the gap between their injury status and their dream goal.

I want to help you reach your dream goal while reducing your risk of getting injured again, minimizing arthritis, and correcting imbalance in your body.

We’ll focus on your mobility and a progressive strength training program to prepare your body for the demands of work, life, and sports. With my background in physical therapy and personal training, I would love to provide you with the accountable, guidance, and expertise so you can feel strong and confident again with your body!

What is your initial assessment like?

This is how I structure your initial session with me. Once we finish, I build your personalized home exercise program. A home exercise program based on the results of your assessment is key to your success.

Interview - Tell me your story and history of injuries (10-15 minutes) 15 %
